Project Details Of The Pune Metro Rail<\/b><\/h2>\n

The MAHA Metro project in Pune is being carried out by the SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) of the governments of Maharashtra and India.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Pune<\/p>\n

The initiative aims to build top-notch metro stations and neighbourhoods that showcase their rich cultural history.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The main objective of this project is to provide benefits like a modern, secure, safe, comfortable, and integrated public transportation system to Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad as it will improve the quality of life for the residents.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are 2 lines and 2 corridors currently active under Pune Metro Project. Among them 5 metro stations are underground and 25 are elevated.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Project<\/p>\n

Pune metro provides 19 hrs of service every day. Each of the metro trains can carry more than 900 people at a time. The train speed will not exceed 80 KMPH.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pune Metro: Line 1<\/b><\/h3>\n

Line 1 of the Pune Metro Project includes 14 stations and covers a distance from PCMC to Swargate.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Line 1 is colour coded as Purple Line under Pune Metro. There are both elevated as well as underground stations on Pune Metro Line.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The depot area of Line 1 is Range Hills which covers 13.27 hectares of land.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Only 5 stations are open now which are PCMC, Sant Tukaram Nagar, Bhosari (Nashik Phata), Kasarwadi, and Phugewadi.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>The other 9 stations which are still under construction are Dapodi, Bopodi, Khadki, Range Hill, Shivaji Nagar, Civil Court, Budhwar Peth, Mandai, and Swargate.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Pune Metro: Line 2<\/b><\/h3>\n

\"PuneLine 2 of the Pune Metro Project will cover 16 stations and among them, 5 stations are active which are <\/span>Vanaz, Anand Nagar, Ideal Colony, Nal Stop, and Garware College.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Line 2 is colour coded as Blue Line <\/span>under Pune Metro. All 16 stations are elevated on Pune Metro Line 2.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There are two corridors in Line 2 which are <\/span>Vanaz and Ramwadi.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The depot area of Line 2 is on <\/span>Hill View Depot at Kothrud<\/span> which covers 12 hectares of land.<\/span><\/p>\n

11 stations apart from the active stations which are currently under construction are <\/span>Deccan Gymkhana, Sambhaji Park, PMC, Civil Court, Mangalwar Peth, Pune Railway Station, Ruby Clinic, Bund Garden, Yer<\/span><\/p>\n

awada, Kalyani Nagar, and Ramwadi.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Pune Metro Route Map<\/b><\/h2>\n

\"PuneUnder Pune metro, there are 2 colour-coded metro routes for 2 lines.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Line 1 is depicted with purple colour. After Range Hill station, there is Range hill deport for Line 1.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For Line 2, the blue colour is used. <\/span>Hill View Depot is at the beginning of the corridor of Line 2 which is Vanaz.<\/span><\/p>\n

Timetable Of Pune Metro<\/b><\/h2>\n

On weekdays which is from <\/span>Monday to Friday<\/span>, Pune Metro runs for <\/span>13 hrs (8 AM to 9 PM)<\/span>. on weekends which is <\/span>Saturday to Sunday<\/span>, Pune Metro runs for <\/span>14 hrs (8 AM to 10 PM)<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Fare List Of Pune Metro<\/b><\/h2>\n

The minimum fare in Pune Metro is Rs 10 and the maximum fare is Rs 20. The commencement of this fare started on 6th March 2022 for PCMC To Phugewadi (Line 1) and Vanaz To Garware College (Line 2).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Pune Metro Extension Plan<\/b><\/h2>\n

The authorities of Pune Metro have planned to increase the Pune Metro development project. There are 3 extension plans currently under construction in Pune Metro which are provided in detail below:<\/span><\/p>\n

Line 1: Purple Line (Extension plan) <\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This extension plan will be from Swargate to Katraj and the length will be <\/span>5.464 km. There will be an underground route built for the extension plan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The estimated cost for this extension plan is <\/span>Rs 4283.72 cr. There will be 3 new stations are proposed at Pushmangal Chowk, Shankar Maharaj Mutt and Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Park.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The plan also includes that these stations can also alternatively be built at Gultekadi, Saibaba Nagar and Katraj.<\/span><\/p>\n

Line 3: Extension Plan<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The extension plan of line 3 includes stations from <\/span>Shivaji Nagar to Kadam Wakwasti and the length will be 18 km.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Line 4: Extension Plan<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The extension plan of line 4 includes stations from <\/span>Swargate to Pul Gate<\/span> and the length will be 3 km. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
